Two (2) scholarship programs are available to children of members who meet the requirements of these programs. One (1) scholarship program is offered by the GSBYRA and the other by the Westhampton Yacht Squadron. Details for the WYS fund can be found in the annual Club Log.

The Memorial Fund receives gifts offered by Charter members. This is an ongoing fund and is used for special sailing and related projects determined by the Memorial Fund Committee. A commemorative plaque is displayed in the main clubhouse. Thank you cards with the club burgee are sent to the donors in appreciation. The family of the deceased is notified of the gift. The Memorial Fund Committee includes, Nancy Cuthbert, Mary Nagel, Ceil Mancuso and Karin Storer.
